Our Project Work
At Soroptimist International of Rangatahi Wellington, we have the opportunity to do a wide range of things!
As long as we have the goal of educating, empowering and enabling ourselves and others then we are achieving our goals.

All Soroptimist Clubs are encouraged to do activities, projects or advocacy work for our 8 objectives.

As a new club, we are still working out what activities and projects we would like to do as a club - as the options are endless!

Soroptimist International is a women's service organisation which provides exciting opportunities to be of service to others and take part in projects through
AWARENESS, ADVOCACY and ACTION.

These projects are carried out at a Club, Region, National, Federation and International level.

The Soroptimist Programme of Service covers a broad spectrum of issues and concerns within the 8 objectives.
Programme of Service - Objectives
The work achieved through these objectives provide opportunities to EDUCATE, EMPOWER and ENABLE women and girls to plan for their future, allows for their economic growth, and opens doors to their dreams.
One of our key initiatives is organising self-defense classes to empower and enable young women in Wellington to feel confident and safe in their everyday lives.
